Out of the 13 people that accessed the clip, only 3 ( Marc, Rick & Norm) submitted entries. I guess 1 . years between clips quizzes was too soon. Or too long. Either way, the worst participation yet. So anyway, to those that participated, many thanks. To those that listened but didn't participate, I hope you at least enjoyed the clip. And even though it's unlikely that I'll be doing another one soon, I still would appreciate feedback, especially from those that accessed the clip, whoever you are, as to what could be different to increase potential participation. Shorter? More time allowed? More easy lyrics? Anonymity? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. And special thanks to Marc for posting the clip on his site. Now on to the results: Rick was almost perfect, getting 73/76 (96.1%), missing only #3, as did all, and the song of #15. Norm got 70 and Marc got 39. As indicated above, #4 Billy Lee Riley's Red Hot was the hardest, not gotten by anyone, though Norm is probably kicking himself as we read for not getting it. That is also the one that I tried to give a clue for, about another artist listed (Jerry Lee Lewis) playing piano on that song, and his style/sound very noticeable on that particular clip. The one that I expected to cause some misidentification initially was #7 Too Much Monkey Business, which it did. Listening to the clip, even I still misidentify it as Roll Over Beethoven. 16 of the clips (42.1%), were identified by all, while while 3 more (7.9%) were almost identified by all (song not ID'ed by 1 participant). The possible missort I had was #21 Work With Me Annie sorted as Hank, when it actually might only be the Midnighters. I did try to have all, or most of the genres represented, and think the mix of that is good. I did try to get a pure pop song or two included, but it just didn't work out this time.
